We're thrilled to announce that CloudQuery has raised a $16M funding round led by Partech.
CloudQuery is tackling the growing complexity of enterprise cloud visibility by centralizing cloud assets, security metadata, and cost data into a single, queryable platform. As cloud estates become increasingly sprawling and fragmented, existing tools remain siloed. There's one for security, another for cost, yet another for asset inventory. This makes it nearly impossible to get a unified view across domains.
CloudQuery takes a developer-first approach to cloud governance, pulling data from 60+ sources including AWS, GCP, Azure, Okta, and Wiz into a centralized data warehouse that's accessible through intuitive SQL queries. Built on high-performance technologies like ClickHouse and Apache Arrow, their platform continuously syncs configuration, security, and cost metadata to ensure teams work with the most accurate, up-to-date information.
Over the past year, they saw 4x ARR growth, 4x customer expansion (including 4 Fortune 500 institutions), doubled the team size, and acquired Tailwarden to bolster their platform. The company is serving some of the biggest companies including enterprises like Fastly, Zendesk, Reddit, Palo Alto Networks, Ridgeline, and more.
As founder Yevgeny Pats notes: "When you put developers first, with accessible data, flexible APIs and native language like SQL, you empower them to move faster, catch issues earlier and build more securely."
We're proud to have backed CloudQuery from day 1 and excited to continue to support them as they scale their mission to bring transparency and control to the complex world of multi-cloud infrastructure! 🚀
