Enterprise Weekly #406: Surviving 2022, The Road Ahead, And More
2022 was a whirlwind. As we wrap up our last edition of Enterprise Weekly of the year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect and acknowledge our readers and entire enterprise community.
We always knew NYC enterprise tech had next level hustle and grit, but it was magical to see everyone come together and support one another as we navigate these trying times - between replanning to extend runway, grinding out sales wins despite increasing sales cycles, reducing customer churn, and so much more. This spirit is why we love what we do and what keeps us going.
Looking ahead, there’s a lot of uncertainty and a lot of change, but most importantly, there’s a lot of opportunity. We collected feedback from our founders and beyond in areas like cybersecurity, infrastructure, devops, PLG, and more, to see where the future is headed:
As the worsening market downturn is certainly on everyone’s mind heading into 2023 planning, we put together our entire library of enterprise playbooks (47 and counting) to help you navigate the most challenging aspects of Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc. This encompasses over a decade of our knowledge helping fund, grow, and support early-stage enterprise software startups.
Lastly, as this year has been extra challenging for so many, we encourage anyone who can to give back. Some of the organizations we're supporting are below:
Project Cicero Book Drive: book drive for public schools in NYC
Straight Outta Crayons: supply drive for schools who serve low income and homeless families in Chicago
Coalition for the Homeless: toy drive for unhoused children of NYC
New York Cares Coat Drive: coat drive for NYC adults and children in need
Keep your head up, keep hustling, and keep hopeful. And if you’re thinking about launching an enterprise software or SaaS startup or have already taken the leap, it's never too early to connect with us. We’d love to share feedback and plug you into our enterprise community where helpful.
Happy holidays!
