Enterprise Weekly #553: The Evolution of Enterprise Weekly into GTM Weekly, and More
Work-Bench is a NYC-based $160M enterprise software Seed stage VC fund. If you are or know anyone thinking about founding an enterprise/vertical AI or infrastructure startup - we’d love to meet! Please reach out to chat.
We have big news this week: we are evolving our Enterprise Weekly newsletter into a new, GTM Weekly Newsletter! 🎉
Enterprise Weekly has been a mainstay of Work-Bench for as long as we have been in business. When we first launched Work-Bench in 2014, NYC was in its early innings of startup town and especially as an enterprise software ecosystem. This newsletter was a way for us to help grow the conversation - and we are so proud of our 552 issues and our consistent drumbeat every Friday over the past 12 years. But as the best startups need to do - we are continuously reinventing ourselves here at Work-Bench, and why we’re sharpening our newsletter’s focus.
If you’ve ever spent time with any of us at Work-Bench, you’ll know that we obsess over enterprise GTM and helping our customers (our founders) close customers, with our life’s motto: “customers are like oxygen”. In today’s world where the compression of software creation cost rules the day on the technical front, we believe distribution is increasingly the only keystone moat for software businesses. It’s not just the acquisition and expansion of customers, but the entire engine that underlies that, now supercharged by AI: from hosting webinars to improve top of funnel and negotiation strategies, redlines, and yes, still surviving procurement. Your GTM is your moat - and we are obsessed with helping you build this.
So what does this mean for us? You’ll still be hearing from us once a week - only now, it’ll be via GTM Weekly: hypertactical GTM tips, how to operationalize it in practice, and maybe even a Claude Skill or prompt that can help people implement these ideas right away.
If you know any founders building in B2B/enterprise who would find this helpful, we would love to have you share with them. To all of you who have read our newsletters, sent us feedback, and supported us on our Enterprise Weekly journey over this past decade - thank you so much! ❤️ Our first issue will be dropping on Wednesday 3/25…see you there!
